"Der aye durust aye" Lastly RSS has realized that without Mr. L. K. Advani it is not possible to win the election. Also it is not possible for Mr. Advani to manage the party affairs when RSS continues to interfere in all the internal matters of BJP .Last election was a great disaster for BJP only due to large scale interference by RSS and VHP in political decisions. It was VHP leaders specially Mr. Togaria who tarnished the image of Mr. Advani and Mr. Atal Bihar Vajpayee. It was RSS leaders who left no stone unturned to belittle Mr. Advani and Mr. Vajpayee. They rather advised these prominent and the most popular leader to leave the post and pave the way for young generations.
I am very much pleased that now RSS has more or less decided to withdraw itself from internal affairs of party decisions. It is only ego of some VIP's of RSS that they are not ready to declare the same publicly. It will take time for them to reaccept Mr. Advani as the best leader because on the issue of Jinah, RSS leaders had damaged the image of Mr. Advani to a great extent. Anyway something is better than nothing.
We have seen great erosion during the last three years in the popularity of the party. As a consequence of BJP growing weakness at all levels, even NDA partners slowly went away from NDA or discarded it openly to associate with other group. It is undoubtedly true that Mr. Rajnath Singh proved to be a flop show in the management of the party. He is of course a good leader but not capable to manage the country. He was the fittest leader for the state of Uttar Pradesh but not that much fit for the entire nation. However Mr. Rajnath Singh can work better under the guidance of Mr. Advani and Mr. Vajpayee.
It is now certain that the prospect of BJP in the next election will improve under the leadership of Mr. Advani.
I would like to further add here that BJP will now have to keep the issue like Ayodhya Temple and Ramsetu away from politics for some more years. People are fed up with these issues and the more BJP will cry on this issue the less will they get votes from public. As such Mr. Advani should concentrate on those issues which are concerned with the public directly such as roti, kapra, makan, safety, wate electricity, good administration, timely justice, proper education, proper health facilities, proper infrastructure, etc. To some extent they may enlighten the issue of nuclear deal but cautiously. Because Left parties and other opposition parties will try to use this weapon for getting sympathy of Muslims.
Further it is desirable to keep away Mr. Togaria of VHP from party campaign.Lastly it is desirable to pull back all coalition partners in NDA back to the previous position and create unity among all NDA partners who pledge loyalty to Common manifesto and rejuvenate NDA and keep some of their individual identity in hibernation as long as they are in NDA.Efforts must be taken to pull back those leaders who deserted the party during last two three years on some ground or other specially when RSS and VHP weakened the position of strong person like Mr. Advani and Mr. Vajpayee.I not only hope but confident of improvement of the status of BJP compared to what they are as of now. The greatest disadvantage of BJP becoming stronger will be that Congress Party and other UPA partners will leave their ideals and policies to come closer in fear of BJP coming back to power.
Anyway India will surely shine under the leadership of Mr. Advani and I wish all the best .for him and his party.
